According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, from January to April this year, national textile and apparel exports reached 88.37 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 32.8% (in RMB terms, an increase of 23.3% year-on-year), which was 11.2 percentage points lower than the growth rate of exports in the first quarter. In April, China’s textile and apparel exports to the world were US$23.28 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.2% (in RMB terms, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%).
